The focusing group elements incorporate high-refractive technology from FUJINON Cinema Lenses to minimise overall chromatic, spherical, and comatic aberrations, reducing the light bleed in your shot's highlights while increasing image quality and detail.
The XF 56mm f1.2 R WR is the first X Mount lens to feature 11 diaphragm blades, resulting in a clean, almost perfectly circular aperture, even at F4 or F5.6.The resulting images have a level of clarity and detail that is only matched by the wonderfully smooth bokeh found in areas with a shallow depth of field, leading busier backgrounds to melt away from an image’s subject creating an isolating effect.
A position lock on the aperture ring prevents unwanted movement to keep a steady image, while Manual focus provides stability for shots in the minimum depth of field. The lens’ aperture also includes the feature of being adjusted by a command dial on an X Series camera body. Lastly, a quick and accurate focus has been achieved by modifying the DC autofocus motor for reduced friction.
Nine rubber seals enable you to be creative no matter the weather, keeping the lens protected from dust and moisture, while also maintaining full functionality in temperatures as low as -10°C (14°F).
